RemoteWorking on native Android development in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, contributing to two in-progress applications built with MVVM architecture.
Weatherly – Weather App
- Built a modern weather app using Jetpack Compose UI, Hilt for dependency injection, and WorkManager for reliable background data syncing.
- Implemented Navigation Compose for in-app routing, notification channels for weather alerts, a home-screen widget, and a layered local/remote data architecture with clean app lifecycle entry points.
Gallery App – Media Management App
- Developing a media management app using Jetpack Compose, Room and DataStore for persistence, Glide for image loading, and Media3/ExoPlayer for playback, with Kotlin Coroutines/Flow handling asynchronous work.
- Implemented an adaptive, high-performance media grid with EXIF/location-based grouping and multi-select batch operations, alongside a biometric-protected encrypted vault and recycle bin for secure media management.
- Built an in-app media editor supporting filters, freehand drawing, text overlays, and precision cropping with high-resolution Canvas-based rendering, while maintaining scoped-storage compliance.

Native Android app · live race data, standings, and weather
- Architected a feature-rich native Android app in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, following clean MVVM architecture with a Repository pattern and Navigation Component across multiple screens.
- Integrated several REST APIs through Retrofit and OkHttp — a custom backend plus the Open-Meteo API — for live race timing, driver standings, and weather.
- Used Kotlin Coroutines and StateFlow for reactive async data handling, with offline caching in Room DB for a smooth, low-latency experience.

- Designed and deployed a custom RESTful API in Python and FastAPI, hosted on Render, pulling together Jolpica-Ergast, OpenF1, and Open-Meteo into one low-latency endpoint built for mobile.
- Handled session-key bridging between differing API conventions, normalised country names, and trimmed JSON payloads for fast parsing on the Android client.

- Built a secure document exchange platform using Firebase Auth and Cloud Firestore, with real-time file management and role-based access for students and faculty.
